Book Review: Reflections in my Tears by Candice M. Martincategories: Books, Literature & Fiction, Poetry
It Moved Me to Tears...I have just completed reading Reflections In My Tears by Candice Martin and I have to say that I was deeply moved. Her poems are deep and thought provoking. Some moving me to tears as I felt even a little bit of what it must of been like for her through out her life. My favorite poem is Reflections In My Tears as it shows the emotion and pain the author went through in her journey from child to woman and how she can cope now. Mrs. Martin is a very wonderful writer and her poetry flows from deep inside.
I recommend this book to all those who have struggled with abuse, shame and humility from the hands of another. I also recommend it to those who haven't seen this side of pain as it truly gives you an insight into the courage that people can have.
