G.E. Gravesabout this book: Imaginings - Love poems
-Does one remember the past - Does one understand themselves-
Emotions are seldom simple, they shimmy and flow without form. Poetry is an effort to express the inexpressible. It is often simple to lose focus when lost in ourself. However, when taking time to truly look inside an understanding can be found. Imaginings is a collection of rhyme where G. E. Graves feels and pens verse in an effort to reflect that which is within.
I do not believe that anyone "chooses" to write poetry. I believe that poetry choose the person. In my opinion, the most difficult part of writing poetry and prose is building the ability to look within, to understand ourselves in the only way possible – to feel.
It is the hope that the readers of Imaginings will feel through the words and sense the emotions that I endeavor to convey. This is what poetry is, feelings expressed in words. It takes one that has had similar experiences to truly understand. Please enjoy the poems and feel what I feel.
