Book Reviews: Natalie's Good Fortune - A Tale of Piracy and Adventure by Anthony R. Fanningcategories: Books, Literature & Fiction, Genre Fiction, Action & Adventure, Pirates
AmazingA friend of mine wrote this book and I bought it basically to support him. When I received it in the mail, I decided to read it and found myself caught up in the story. Very engaging and well written. It kept my attention and was really a wonderful get away. [by Tracy]
This story totally rocks!A friend recommended this book and I was totally skeptical because at the time it was only available from a self-publishing site, but when I read it I was really surprised. This story totally rocks! I really like historical adventures, which Natalie's Good Fortune is, but it's hard to find one that seems so true to period and also has such believable characters. I was completely involved in Natalie's life and found myself at first identifying with her, and then wanting to be like friends with her.
From the first days when she's just this spoiled rich girl to the end of the story where she's throwing herself into battle with pirates, it was just so believable and real that I couldn't put down the book. I was actually kinda sad when I'd finished. Fortunately there's more stories to read. Now I'm a total fan.
