Book Review: The Art of Collecting Photography by Laura Noblecategories: Book, Photography Collection, Landscapes, Portraits, Nudes, Still Lifes, Fashion Images, Photojournalism, Photography
An Excellent ResourceThis detailed and thorough - not to mention quite beautifully designed - book is a pleasure to read. I originally brought it as a study resource, but soon found myself dipping back in repeatedly. Nobles writing is accessible and a joy to read, whilst she balances a vast amount of art history and practical information with great lightness of touch. The illustrated profiles of the great and the good had me craving for more. Did I mention the clear, modern and intuitive design? Fabulous and highly recommended!
