Serge Lapytskiabout this book: Not being shy anymore
I decided to talk to her at the book store
And with an absent face
I entered the place
Showing no interest at all
As I can recall
She was standing at a bookshelf
I approached her and said
The first thing that came to my head:
She looked at me
"Do you sell Propranolol?"
Then I thought to myself
Look, there are books on the shelf
Why don't you ask for something more?
Genius, this is a book store
"No" she gave me a look of surprise
I added, hiding my eyes:
"Then maybe you have Tylenol?"
"Can I get your phone number instead?"
She answered: "You bet"
Of course she did not give me her number
If you wonder
But I am an organized man
And quickly had another plan
I had a friend in her class
And to make a second pass
I adjusted my game
And with the conscious aim
I visited my friend at a lunch break
I even brought him some cake
Of course, you do
What you have to do
The cake was nice
And it is a very good price
For a little favor to be done
Just for fun
what to read next: if you read and liked this book...
