Howard Littlesonabout this book: Jonah The Seer is a unique book in that though it fits into the paranormal genre, it is a work of historical fiction that is richly textured with details about a boy coming of age the 1930's. Readers will be surprised in that the book is probably nothing like what they expect, even if they read the description first.
I was inspired to write the book because of my own strong beliefs about what happens to us when we pass from this life to the next. My encounters with family members of mine struggling with mental illness and my love of the period in our Nation's history starting with the Great Depression and running up through World War II added to the inspiration that became Jonah The Seer.
Jonah The Seer will grab a hold of you, make you question what you believe and why you believe it and join the decade's long debate of whether what Jonah sees is the product of a unique gift or the visions and torment of a fractured mind plagued by lunacy.
One think is for sure; you'll never again enter a graveyard without thinking of Jonah The Seer.
