Author Deanna Marie Kinneyabout this book: Charity Moon is a fun filled YA Romance with action, suspense, humor, richly colorful characters, the occasional fairytale creature, and of course, passion.

Charity Bell is eighteen and in her final year at West Windrake High. Tragedy has forced her to build a fortress around her heart not even the strongest can penetrate. That's all put to the test when a dangerously handsome and mysterious Levi Drake transfers from her rival school across town. It will take more than muscles for this dashing knight to capture her heart. When his lifelong rival also sets his sights on the sharp tongued beauty, Levi will willingly put everything, even his life and the lives of those he loves,on the line to make her safe once again. In the end will it be enough to claim her as his own, taming her wild heart, thus setting it free.

I set out to write this book strictly for myself, but after asking a few teenagers to read it, the response was powerful. I then set out on a task to share it with the world. And here we are!

 Addicted and Proud

Charity Moon is a new and captivating experience with a well developed plot and exquisite characterization. I had the privilege of reading it when Mrs. Kinney was still in the editing process, and it has been absolutely incredible being able to note the changes that make the story so worthwhile. The main character herself captures an essence that is unexplainable by any means other than that which the author conveys, which she did beautifully. The messages and themes are positively wonderful, as is the incorporation of faith. An absolute must read for any occasion. [by Ronnie]
