Amanda Faithabout this book: The paranormal has always interested me. I love reading a good mystery. I took both of these elements, threw in a little love and a conspiracy with government involvement and created Strength of Spirit. Although it was geared as a mainstream book, young adults will also enjoy reading it. I entered my first writing contest in the 6th grade and have been writing ever since. I enjoy reading a variety of genres, which adds to my writing. The title came about from the belief that some family members, even when they are gone from this plane of existence, are still there for you. You need strength to get through hard times. This story ties all of this together.
The government is more aware of the paranormal than they want the public to know. They are involved in people's lives in ways that seem innocuous. Using vast resources, they are able to investigate and maintain peace in a whole other dimension. Only the talented and special are invited to join this elite force. Now they have help, from the other side.
