Stan Taylorabout this book: This book is a multi-part story that involves a variety of unique characters. However, the main character is Kit, a gorgeous, high-profile detective, who reflects on different cases from the past while behind bars.
While reviewing these various scenarios, she finds herself immersed in a topsy-turvy world of power, control, and, finally, murder.
The inspiration for the characters within this book, primarily, had to do with the people I came across during my past. Whether it was when I was at the post office working or just out and about on my routes, I noticed certain personality traits that I never seemed to forget. In turn, I decided to put bits and pieces of these traits within the characters themselves.
Overall, the book took about six months to write, but my son spent a good nine months editing it for me in-between balancing his own work.
We make a really good team, and this book is a great example of that teamwork.
