Miss Mae

Author Miss Maeabout this book: My persona Miss Mae is known for sweet romances. But I always want to mix up the plot too, and add in some unexpected spices.

This book is no different. It might seem the usual and tired, "girl returns to town, meets old boyfriend, meets new guy, one gets jealous of the other", etc. But my book is completely different from that!

When Mona Murphy returns to her hometown of Copper Springs, she only comes to bury her grandfather. But weird things occur - like bloody towels in her Grandpa's backyard. Whose blood is it? How did the towels get there? And why should the insurance agent, Preston Hitchcock, show up just at the moment that Mona discovers the towels?

It's one thing to be encountered with these questions. It's another thing entirely to have to come face to face with her past, and the secrets she so desperately tried to run away from.

• "The added boyfriend from the past made this a sensational read. I just wanted him to go away but he always came back, and then the special abilities that Mona possessed really set this book on fire." — Val Pearson, Five Stars

• "The characters are interesting with a plot that keeps you reading when you know you should put the book down and get something else done. What I particularly liked is that the story was refreshingly "clean" with no erotic stuff to spoil it." — Louise Pledge, Five Stars

by author Rachel Rossano

I really enjoyed this complex short tale of danger, mystery, and a dash of romance. Miss Mae's fast paced writing style kept me sucked in to the story, the characters, and the exciting journey to find out who did what and how. This novella is definitely worth your time.
