Dave Donahueabout this book: This book is a series book of five tales involving murder on the California coast beaches and hotels. it is a fast paced who done it book of about 80 pages. The lead detective John Brodis is on the hunt and won't quit until justice is served.
I was inspired to write the Sunshine Murders when I contracted meningitis and unfortunately a diagnosis of Aids. After a near death experience I decided to try my hand at writing is to help with cognitive issues lost from Aids and meningitis. Initially I wrote a life story called "My life, a life story of a man infected." I had this published in April 2012.
The primary readers of "The Sunshine Murders" are people who like fiction murder mysteries.
The Sunshine Murders took about 3-4 months to write with editing, formatting, etc.
I came up with the title by thinking of California which is where I am from.
The hardest part was the beginning of the book.
The book is all a figment of my imagination...
Wracking my brain!
I learned that the cognitive damage I suffered can be reversed somewhat, all I had to do was focus.
I love writing, I am an ex US Marine and commercial electrician. I have a 10 year old son, married and live in Durham NC.
