Book: Murder on Tiptoes by Tony Nashcategories: Book, Forensic Science, Romance, Police Procedure, Investigation, Norfolk County, Friendship, Murder Mystery
Tony Nashabout this book: Being very fond of my home county, I've read just about every book concerned with it, and one thing I found out was that there seemed to be only one home-grown murder mystery written by an author from this county. Spurred on by a then current set of prostitute murders in the county and my own love of forensic medicine, which I've studied for years, I determined that there was only one thing to do: fill the gap and write a series of murder mysteries, with a Norfolk man, DCI Tony Dyce, as the main protagonist. 'Murder on Tiptoes' is the first book in the series, and I thoroughly enjoyed writing all of them. Tony is up against a highly intelligent killer, who never leaves the slightest clue, unless it is deliberately false. Worse, the murderer is targeting the DCI to be the fall guy. One reviewer said, 'Reading this novel, I felt that I as standing behind Jane Keller with a scalpel in my hand.' Another, a lady, mentioned that she had found out that she had 'precious little parts' she never knew she had, after reading one of Jane's post-mortems. The first line of the novel might shock, but travel past it and all will be revealed.
