Phil Tomkinsabout this book: The book is Fiction based on Fact or Faction. I was inspired to write this book through of my service as an elite forces soldier. Readers would be ex & serving soldiers also armchair soldiers, as well as female readers as there are three love stories involved the story. It took me a very long time to write this book as at one stage I deleted it and lost is forever, so had to start all over again.
The title sums up the books content. As the book is based on Airborne Forces the cover depicts a Paratrooper jumping into action. The hardest part of writing the book was stickability, trying to get something down each day. All historical scenes have been researched for accuracy. I learned a lot about myself, the journey I have travelled and its effect on me and my personal life. If the potential reader wants an exciting, grippiung read and the ability to pick the book up and lay it down then pick it up againg without any loss of continuity this book if for them.
