Louise Emily Crandallabout this book: I chose this title as it relates to the astrological sign which has two parts, the scorpion and the phoenix, rising out of the ashes. As a Scorpio, it was a long struggle to get out of the ashes. This is a memoir that I was pushed for many years to write and finally sat down and wrote it. It didn't take much time because it was my story; people have said it was like talking to me. I see this book not only as a journey by a medium, but as a self help book for those who are struggling to find themselves when they have a limited feeling of self worth. It was a struggle for her to grow up at a time when children were seen and not heard and she definitely wanted to be heard. Her journey takes her through some dark places, love, joy, and grief to bring her to where she resides now. It will relate to ages 16 to 90. An 88 year old friend read it, and was relating it to how she treated her grandchildren.
