Jatin Nasaabout this book: Want to make your career at a Big 4? Its a good idea! Why not take a step ahead and know those do's and don'ts before taking the leap. The story offers deep insights as to how typical leaders, partners at a Big 4 thinks and act in a given situation. Whether they would favor you or some one else. What are they looking when they hire you? What are their biggest strengths and weaknesses?
In the face of all that politics, question yourself what you are going to do when you stand in my shoes.
I was writing this book while looking for a job with little money left to spend, appearing in many interviews with no luck. My family contacted a priest to check on my stars and he added all the more doom to my situation. He said something like – "my stars were not working and there is some "dasha" going on which is making life utterly difficult for me". Knowing this and that, I was finding no comfort in doing anything save writing my story. I have written this memoir for good reasons. Firstly, I wanted to share my experience with the world without fear of negative recognition. I wanted to let the people know where I landed by doing what I did, so that, they can avoid being so aggressive in doing the same. I also wanted to make them aware about the kind of self-centered, egoistic leaders that run these giant practices of these Big 4s. Second, I wrote it because I wanted to write, because I love to express my feelings and thoughts. In the beginning, I used to ponder a lot, would anyone care to know what I went through? Would anyone be interested? But I guess this feeling got eventually overcome by my inner need to tell the truth because to write about what happened, was my salvation. It was only for me and me alone.
This book will be available for purchase at the end of September 2018
