Author Linda Hays-Gibbsabout this book: This book is about a runaway girl with magical gifts. I thought about being bartered to marry someone you could never love and how horrible that would be to a young girl. The primary readers of this book want an escape into another world of magic and took me about six months to write this book. The hardest part about writing this book was research into Druids and their practices.

I always learn something new when I write a book and grow as a writer. All you want to do is go rewrite it and make it better. I would love for my readers to enjoy my work. I want the reader to feel the hopelessness she felt before she found out she had magic of her own. When she could fight the forces and not be a victim but a heroine Finally, she is forced to recognize her ancestry and her place in a world of magic. She finds out she is a Druid and filled with unusual and unique powers.
