Malini Chaudhriabout this book: Low level laser was approved by Alma Ata (WHO) in 1994, where it became recognized as alternative therapy and a distinct option for needle less acupuncture. At the same time it was investigated by scientific communities and laboratories in US, UK and Europe, passing rigorous controls for approval from FDA.
Whereas low level laser is very little understood by the world, it has been preferred by many as a device that improves recovery in physical therapy, wound healing, pain management and much more. The unique nature of its application, as dosimetry and specifications has necessitated an original technical system for standardized description.
This book, simplifies the story of low level laser in therapy. It is a technical and verified description of care through laser based on SOAP, in the field of applications as acupuncture, sports recovery, lymphatic drainage or other. It is well illustrated and practical.
At the same time, I call it FULL SPECTRUM, as it covers aspects of process. The means by which lasers deliver a photochemical response is mapped theoretically as discussed by subject experts as Karu in Russia, and Hamblin in Harvard University. Other great expertts as Oshiro, Tuner, Hode, Pontinen and Enwemeka are also provided. The complex processes involved in a photochemical tissue reaction may be understood and valued for its capacity to transform the DNA in diseased conditions and to support recovery through unusual mechanisms that are often life supporting.
With 22 years of practise and several hundred case studies, the effects on tendons, stroke and pain control have been very marked and verified.
From many months of no recovery from physiotherapy the outcome has changed to five sessions for removal of spasticity in stroke victims. This is with direct radiation and laser acupuncture combination.
As therapy becomes expensive in alternative medicine, I hope this book will encourage many to study and self improve. i offer a course on Eliademy for those who are interested.
I look forward to bringing more into this great fraternity of laser lovers through my book.
