Book: Struggles of the Women Folk by T. M. Browncategories: Book, Lost, Family, Relationship, Romance, Struggle, Deception, Black, Love
T. M. Brownabout this book: Georgie has a lot of ups and downs in her life. Still she remains vigilant in her reliance on her faith. The secrets and deception are becoming too much for her to bear!
I don't know how long I stayed in my room. I came out only to go to the outhouse. I didn't bathe, comb my hair or change my clothes. Every morning, Donnie would knock on my bedroom door and I would tell him to go away. Aunt Adele would come by and I'd tell her the same thing. "Go away!"
This book is loosely based on stories that my Grandma shared with me during my childhood.
The cover is actually a painting that I did several years ago. At the time, I had no idea that I would someday write a book that aligned so well with it. Kind of eerie! Believe it or not, my characters speak out to me in the weirdest places, like when I'm taking a bath!
Readers, never give up on your dreams.
