Loretta DiLeoabout this book: A true first hand account of the author's continued afterlife connection with the gifted healer, Dr. Richard M. Jasper with whom she had the privilege of working for twenty-five years. Our story birthed with a promise, one made years or lifetimes ago. Circumstances have prompted me to keep it. In the process everything this author would have sworn she believed to be true was challenged.
Presenting the story in a two-part format, Part one, establishes the groundwork for the events that transpire in second half of the book. It commences with glimpses into the backgrounds and lives of both participants predating their meeting, exploring the life altering series of events that prepared the student to meet the teacher. The author's own remarkable healing in the hands of this gifted individual led to the subsequent discovery of her own healing abilities. The invitation was extended to become the sorcerer's apprentice, which has led to a career spanning more than thirty-five blessed years. Examples of how he utilized his gifts to effect the healing of the body/mind and spirit of those he touched are highlighted. He displayed vast wisdom and courage in overcoming the obstacles he faced because of the color of his skin, coupled with his unorthodox beliefs. The reader gains insight into his charismatic personality and the dichotomy that seems to shadow all men of exceptional talent, most often observed by people in the author's position. Their personal stories are presented against the backdrop of the struggle to advance alternative therapies and the risks faced by innovators in the latter part of the previous century.
Part one concludes with two significant factors setting the stage for the events to follow. A recommendation to read a new book set the course for one of the most exciting chapters of this author's life, igniting a desire that compelled me to pull out all the stops and pursue this new exciting course of study. Set in the six-month period surrounding the World Trade Center disaster, the final two seminars were held at the Marriott Hotel, at Ground Zero. The compelling occurrences personally experienced by the author and a great number of her clients are highlighted in several incidents in the text. During the corresponding period, Doctor Jasper suffers personal tragedy with the loss of his beloved brother and mother within four months, part one concluding with his own shocking, untimely passing and the ensuing chaos that followed.
Part two commences with the funeral of Doctor Jasper and his fulfillment of a bargain made long ago. The author then invites the reader to accompany her along on her inner journey of conflicts and the challenges of her convictions. Her issuant personal struggles with self-doubt, led to the discovery of new levels of awakenings, awareness and self-discovery.
Doctor Jasper offers glimpses into the afterlife delivered in a manner and style providing the reader with the assurance of the survival of personality. He imparts understanding and insight into the role spiritual guides play in our human lives and the factors he attributes to our exceptional clarity of communication.
The story culminates in a powerful documented healing miracle and an expanding, evolving hint of things to come.
