Elskidor Xellabout this book: This book is about a friendship between two young girls that develops into love. Since they are born into families that require them to marry and produce heirs, their love for each other seems hopeless. Their commitment to each other and the obstacles they face is the meat of this story, taking these characters through about 30 years of their lives.
When I was in the process of rewrites and editing the second volume of The Lady of the Water Series (Medley of Treason), I became fascinated with one of the secondary characters and decided to explore her earlier life in a standalone novel that connected to my series. Her story grabbed my imagination, and that exploration became Furtive Liaison.
• "Two very strong women in love with each other but it was a love that would never be accepted by society and each had a duty to their family to protect the family line. This is a fascinating story of how they handle this situation and much more." — Michael Slavin
• "This book will take you far and deep into the writer's imagination. If you like long, detailed and imaginative tales, this book is for you!" — Lily
