Sonja M Haggertabout this book: "Invest Reinvest Rest: Investment Advice for all Generations" was written to answer investing questions from my girlfriends. They knew I enjoyed the topic and had been pretty successful.
I also wrote the book because these are things I wish someone had told me when I was in my 20's.
The greatest compliment I have received was from our nieces. They said they felt like I was talking to them. I hope my readers feel the same way.
One of my favorite quotes is from Steve Jobs of Apple, "Simple is harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it's worth it in the end." Four and a half years later here is what I hope is a very understandable book. A book readers can pick up and after reading it implement my suggestions.
It is gratifying that parents and grandparents are buying the book for their children and grandchildren to give them an edge in paying for college or setting them up for retirement.
Credit for the title goes to my husband and partner in investing.
