Jocelyn Prosser

Author Jocelyn Prosserabout this book: I decided to write my book to raise awareness and illustrate how important Intuition is in our everyday lives. The book relates my own personal life experiences and how intuition has literally been lifesaving. Having spoken to many people it seems that the majority have had some sort of intuitive experience in their lives. So why don't we use this under valued sixth sense more? Most decision making is based on logic. However the book reveals the importance of going with your gut.

I had my first intuitive experience when I was child .It took over 45 years to have my intuition validated by a neuro clinical psychologist after being diagnosed with epilepsy.

The hardest thing about writing the book was that I had to reveal deeply personal experiences which was uncomfortable and painful on times. Also the fact that I had never written anything previously.

I chose the title as it resonates my belief that intuition is connected to the soul and is a precious guide.

The cover I chose relates the idea that we are sometimes become aware of thoughts or feelings that come suddenly and out of the blue. This I believe is a hallmark of intuition.

I am a full time carer giver to my husband and daughter. I sit on the Wales Carers advisory board UK. I am also an artist and jewellery maker.

A truth and a journey of discovery

I loved this book. It is an open, honest, engaging account of the author's journey in life. There are times when you wonder how Jocelyn has coped with all she has encountered in life, being a carer from a very young age. The book helps you see that she has learned to rely on her intuition and through all she has faced her intuitive sense has strengthened and her experiences show us all how we must learn to listen to that inner feeling. The book is a testament to the strength of the author and how in very demanding situations she always knows to rely on her gut feelings.
