Kay Hadashiabout this book: Stalking Silk is a stalker story. A prominent neurosurgeon and part time fashion model finds herself in trouble after being too nice to the wrong person. She can only guess who the person is that sends friendly texts and even friendlier gifts. If only it were a new lover in her life. But soon enough she shown the kind of attention no woman ever wants!
Stalking Silk was at times a chore to write, since it came from some personal experiences, and from stories I've heard from others. Most of it was imagination! In this day and age of so much electronic connection to others, I felt a story about text stalking and psychological boundaries would be interesting. How many stories have we heard from women about men that can't tell the difference between a friendly smile and a flirtatious one? And why in the world would a polite smile lead to abduction and murder?
I think any woman will identify with the cover, of a woman tied to a chair in a dark room. Such a terrifying situation! But that is exactly what happens to the hero of the story, someone all readers will cheer for.
