Book Review: The Consult Manual of Internal Medicine by Harry Rosencategories: Book, Pathophysiology, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Hematology, Oncology, Infectious Disease, Rheumatology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Internal Medicine
Excellent ResourceI really like the way the book covers it all. From the basics of pathophysiology (short, sweet, and to the point) to in depth treatment coverage, including pharmacology (doses, mechanisms, side effects, contraindications) and procedures. Really nice organ systems breakdown for diagnosis as well as medication side effects. I found this book to be invaluable for my clinical years. It should make internship that much easier to bear.
