Shannon Stephensabout this book: This book is based on my life story. I grew up in Foster care and have gone through many trials in my life. At the age of 23 with 2 daughters and newly engaged, I suffered a massive debilitating stroke that killed 45% of my front right lobe of my brain. I was not saved or living as Christ wanted, and He used this as a wake up call for me. I was told I would never be out of a hospital bed or walk again and 3 1/2 weeks later I walked out of rehab.
God saved me and I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for Him. This book shares my story of trials I have faced along with other inspiring stories that my family has been through. From my mother-in-law's battle with breast cancer to my sister-in-law and her husband having a son after his battle and treatment with cancer. My wish for this book is to show how AWESOME God is and how only God can get you through ANY tragedy!
