about this book: The book is about struggling family of india. I took six months to finish the book. My dad who is renowned politician always take me in his meetings and speeches. I get opportunities to meet poor as well as rich crowd. The poverty inspired me to write this novel.
In the slum lives memna who wants to earn at his early age. He learns about the partion of india and pakistan. The funny faces of mr.moddy and linda adds humor to the novel Mishi was very intelligent so she could easily recognize from his face that he wanted to know about her past life. But she did not want to narrate her past to Memna as she considered him too young to understand, the troubles of life. One day Memna went inside the Mishi's room. Mishi was busy with her studies. She did not even know that Memna had Memna could see a torn area in Mishi's Kurta which could be a new style for a model of her age but she gracefully covered herself with a shawl.
