Book Review: A House Husbands Diary by David Bullcategories: Book, Light Reading, Diary, Lifes Disasters, Snapshot of Life, My Funny Times, Humour
David Bullabout this book: A period of my life when I found myself out of work and confined to barracks, I mean home. It is a brief snapshot of all the trials and tribulations I faced during this period of my life. I freely admit to using a lot of poetic licence to try and make the episodes slightly humorous but all that happened does have a grain of truth, I promise.
It was written over a period of three months, mainly to break the boredom and for my own amusement. I can't say it was particularly difficult to write as I didn't start out with the intention of anybody else ever seeing it, so I didn't feel under any pressure or have any preconceived ideas of what I wanted to achieve.
So far all those that have taken the time, and I am extremely grateful to those people, to read my musings have said that they have laughed out loud. I do not profess to be an author or even an accomplished writer, but if I can bring a little laughter into somebody's life I for one will be happy.
