about this book: Ever wonder if someone else's job would be better than your own? Here are some examples of other job positions that may be better suited to your expertise...a hair salon with a unique twist on showing off designs...a auto shop where you can get service, whether real or surreal...a pool cleaning company that offers other 'services' as well... thirteen short stories of jobs which can be considered macabre, slightly skewed, or just down right creepy. Maybe there'll be a job in here that's just right for you...
I was inspired to write this horror anthology of short stories about different jobs while sitting in my beauty salon, waiting for my hair to be cut. I love the three girls who own/run the business, and the story for 'Scalping Season' began a journey into looking at what would happen if ... this lead to my perusing other businesses within my town and another creepy tale my grandfather told me (about a mortician) in the small town where my father grew up. It took me about three days to finish all of the stories once I 'got the bug' for this anthology. Who knows...I may be up for a 'Horrors & Occupational Hazards 2' somewhere down the road.
