TB Riggsabout this book: Writing this story was absolutely entertaining for me, in that I soon became Miss Charlotte, because I could literally identify with her on so many levels. You see; I too believe in re-incarnation, ghosts, and angels, and because the main characters in this book interact so beautifully with each other, it was easy to write. The words just flowed onto the pages. Abigail a twenty-seven-year-old orphan who grew up in London England, is in for a real surprise when she arrives in Big Bend Texas, and what transpires next is fascinating, because Miss Charlotte and her best friend Lily May, a former slave apparently have a great secret which she is determined to uncover!
Abigail's auntie… Miss Hannah, a true narcissist, battle ax, and Hill Billy, is not at home when she arrives. Left to her own devices, Abigail becomes good friends with Maggie, her aunties Irish maid who loves her whisky, and Miss Charlotte. I had so much fun writing this story that many times I had to stop and chuckle to myself, especially so when I created the character of Miss Hannah, who is Abigail's biological aunt. Oh, and yes, Abigail falls in love with Clint, a handsome, and intelligent young man.
