Good But Too LateMy husband died last year - he was 63 years old. If I had read this and believed what could happen, I don't believe he would have died. Not yet at least. He had terminal Cancer but went to hospital because he began to fall and had low blood sugars and an infection. They checked him for brain damage due to his falls and any fractures. There were none but had difficulty getting his blood sugars up where they belonged. He fell after returning to the bathroom without help despite wearing a wrist band that said fall risk. His hip was operated on and he never recovered. I should have been with him but I was so tired from going back and forth and trying to get the house ready for him to come home. What a mistake in judgment!
