about this book: When Daniel and his parents from El Paso, Texas go on a vacation to the Grand Canyon to get away from the pressures of life in the city and relax little do they know that they are going to encounter a being that is going to impact their lives. It happens one night when Daniel decides to sleep outside instead of the RV like he usually does. As he is about to fall asleep he feels a light shining on him. He thinks it is his father shining his flashlight on him, but this feels larger and brighter. When he opens his eyes he notices a bright light coming out the canyon wall with a moving escalator coming down. On this escalator is a strange being that is a small man or a midget. This is all that Daniel sees as he quickly gets up and runs inside the RV.

When I started to write this story I got the inspiration from the way society is with all the violence and immorality. Tatoon comes to observe the world and see if it is ready to receive "the keys of knowledge." This keys will help the world with all their problems, but only if it is ready.

I came up with the title Tatoon from my imagination and I thought it fit the character and the cover that I chose was because it was the only one available and since it looks like a cavern it seemed appropriate because Tatoon comes from inside the canyon wall. I thought this cover was close enough. It took me about a year to write as I wrote when I was in the mood and that was the hardest part. I did not do any research as it is a fiction, but something like what is in the story could happen such as a chemical spill. I learned that this world would be a better place if more people were caring and helpful. The one thing that I want to say to my readers is that we all should be more loving and helpful. We should care for one another.
