Diane Major about this book: This is a ghost story. Having written 3 other fantasy adventure books I wanted to try something a bit different. This particular book would be suitable for young adults upwards. The book took 2 months to write and a long time to prepare for publication. I chose several titles and then checked them on Amazon to see if anyone else was using them. 'Like Hell Itself' was not being used by any other author and fit into the storline. A friend and author named L J Bush worked with me on the cover. We discussed the content of the book and the cover emerged. The hardest part of writing this book was keeping an appropriate timeline. I had to check when things happened several times to keep them in sequence.
The story is purely a figment of my imagination and I researched the title as I previously mentioned on Amazon. I hope anyone who reads my book will escape from reality if it is only for the time it take to complete the book. BACK COVER: Ellen and her friend had a tough time growing up in care. On reaching adulthood they begin to despair, their whole life seems to go from bad to worse. It is a rainy afternoon when Ellen decides to risk what little money the two friends have left on a lottery ticket. To Ellen and Yvonne's amazement their luck is about to change, or is it? Yvonne decides to stay in London and start her own business while Ellen moves to her dream house in the countryside situated near the quaint old village of Chipford. Ellen has just begun to settle into her new home when she begins to dream. It isn't long before these dreams turn into nightmares and she begins to wonder when and how this will all end...
