Susan Mac Nicolabout this book: Sometimes you have to wait for love to come to you…
Nick Cooper has been a policeman in the Royal Canadian Mounted police for a long time. When a particularly nasty murder occurs in his jurisdiction, he is determined to find the killer. He hadn't counted on becoming a bodyguard for a sexy and powerful British Earl.
Simon Bridgeworth has come to Toronto to find out why this branch of his company is failing. He didn't count on finding the best link in his investigation dead, and a rugged, principled policeman being assigned as his personal bodyguard. Then things begin to become very personal indeed as both men find a mutual attraction and the criminal world encroaches on them as they get to know each other better. And when Simon is kidnapped and threatened, Nick will do anything to get him back.
This story was co-written between an author in the UK and another in Toronto. It was a collaboration across the water and one both authors enjoyed doing.
