Book Review: Dennis Bisskit and the Man from Paris with the Very Large Head by Stephen Ainley
categories: Book, Humour, Laughter, Adventure, Dudley, Nostalgia, Funny Crime Novel
Stephen Ainley about this book: This book continues the adventures of Dennis Bisskit and takes place in the West Midlands U.K. in the 1969. My first book, the Dennis Bisskit Adventures ended with Dennis and his best mate Stinky Blackshaw serving in the British army. Now the boys have a new career as Private Investigators. The hardest part of writing this book was letting the two main characters grow up, but still keep the same humour from the first book. This book is described as a funny/crime novel. Some research was needed into the tunnels which run beneath Birmingham UK and the Birmingham Art Gallery. It took me about a year to write, which i know is pretty slow, but i find that i delete a lot of stuff i write, until i am really happy with it. Also if you haven't read a Dennis Bisskit book, Dennis is notoriously accident prone, and readers expect some big, Dennis disasters, which take a bit of planning. You are guaranteed a laugh with, Dennis Bisskit and the Man From Paris with the Very Large Head.

Very funny, exciting and uplifting
I had read the author's first book, The Dennis Bisskit Adventures, so had been really looking forward to this one and it didn't let me down. The crime segment is very well written, but the main thing is the humor, ranging from funny to very funny. Such lovable characters. Can't wait for the next one. [by Jane Robinson]
