about this book: My book is a collection of 194 cartoons and 120 of them are in color. All are done in my favorite genre, the single panel gag cartoon which I began creating and illustrating back in the early 1970's. All of the cartoons in this specific collection are very recent and the total sum are for any child or adult to enjoy. The worst being a full page color depicting a gent with an overly runny nose asking for some cold medication! The hardest part of putting this collection of cartoons together was learning how to format and submit the book to my publisher, which was a learning experience along the way. Technology can be a wonderful thing, but at the same time very frustrating!

I wanted to offer readers as much humor in as many pages as possible without going overboard, so decided to include two single panels on each of the 100 pages or so throughout the collection. Some cartoons focus on talking dogs while others are about bigfoot, so there is a wide variety of topical material throughout my collection. I am a fulltime cartoonist and have had my work published in magazines, newsletters, books, newspapers and in other online projects and have done so for almost 35 years. I truly enjoy the creative aspect of drawing my cartoons and assembling them in a unique and presentable way such as this ebook collection. Don't hesitate to contact me through my main website, just type my name into your favorite search function to tell me what you think of this collection. I hope to use the popularity of this collection as a gauge on creating future books similar to this, so any input would be appreciated! A special preface to this book was written by none other than Dave Astor who has written Comic (and Column) Confessional, a book about his experiences in the comic strip and syndicate world and his times as an editor of the popular "Syndicate News" section of Editor & Publisher magazine. Look for David's book where quality books are sold and also online!
