Book: The Financial Fairy Tales - The Troll Bridge by Daniel Britton
categories: Book, Childrens, Money, Finance, Kids, Inspirational, Fairy Stories, Fairy Tales, Financial Literacy, Financial EducationDaniel Britton

The Troll Bridge tells the story of a young boy and his encounter with the Troll who lives under the bridge. The bridge is the only way into or out of the village and so everyone and everything has to pay the Troll Tax. It had been that way for so long that everyone accepted it, until a young boy dared to ask why?
The Troll Bridge was inspired by taking a car trip over an old bridge where someone takes a toll. It got me wondering how much traffic do they need to justify paying someone to collect all these small bits of money and what do they do with the surplus?
Typically the book will appeal to readers aged between 5 and 9 and the money messages are universal and so the Financial Fairy Tales are being enjoyed in many countries around the world.
Readers will benefit from a fun and innovative twist on a classic fairy tale genre, embedded with money and financial values, including why we pay tax, trade and commerce, public spending, greed and generosity.
I am delighted to have received some very positive endorsements from business and wealth leaders such as Brian Tracy and Loral Langemeier.
I started the book around Easter of 2013 and the first draft came really quickly. Subsequent editing and re-writes took a while longer but I have ended up with a book that I can be really proud of and I am hoping will bring a lot of pleasure to children and their parents.
