Book Review: The Real World Guide to Digital Filmmaking by Kevin DiBaccocategories: Book, Video Production, Documentary, Videography, Producing, Directing, Independent Film, Filmmaking
Kevin DiBaccoabout this book: The Real World Guide to Digital Filmmaking is a cross between the trials a tribulations of an Independent filmmaker and a reference book on how to produce and sell your Independent film or video production.
It's a No Nonsense guide written from 'Real' life experiences that happened on the film shoots. Everything in the book is true and were compiled to write this book. Both, the good and the bad.
There are no other books about film or video production on the market that are based on actual 'REAL LIFE' experiences. Everyone from the beginner to the Expert will find something useful in the book.
Kevin literally had to work his way up from the very bottom of production. Something that very rarely happens today. In doing so he has mastered the art of shooting, producing, directing and editing. Each category rewarded with specific awards for his work.
To enhance the book Kevin teaches seminars and lectures around the country. He is still a working filmmaker with feature film projects upcoming both in the United States and Europe.

More than a book about filmmakingI found this more to be about a guy that had to work his ass off to get some where. A work ethic that is not very common today! Very inspiring to read. [by Ken]
