Elle Campbellabout this book: My name is Elle Campbell and I have written a book called 'Style, Chic, Trendy, Cheap- How to Get an Expensive Wardrobe to Fit Any Paycheck' to inform women everywhere how to look chic for less. I am a past graduate of Parsons School of Design and have held interships with companies such as BCBG Max Azria and MTV. Previously I worked in merchandising and buying for contemporary fashion companies like True Religion and Juicy Couture. After a year of travelling the world, I am now currently a fashion and lifestyle writer.
It is needless to say what inspired me to write this book. I grew up in a family that didn't have very much money, so I was always looking for ways to look 'expensive' for less. This book consists of all the tips I have gathered up during the years in the fashion industry and teaches women of all ages how to look stunning while not having to be in bad terms with the bank.
While I was researching and writing this book, I learnt many things all over again, such as how to dress right for your body type. I mean, your body is your number 1 asset and if you don't know how to flaunt it right by wearing expensive clothes that makes you look 'inexpensive', then what is the point? So my favourite section of this book just happens to be 'How to Dress Right For Your Body Type', it teaches you the do's and don'ts for each body type and shows you different outfit combinations that would look great for your particular body type.
Another part of this book that I had to research heavily about was a list of affordable yet stylish online beauty and fashion stores. I researched hard and heavy for this because I wanted to give my readers a true and genuine list of chic, stylish and expensive looking clothing, make-up etc. that will still fit their budget.
In this book, I am informing readers how to have an expensive looking wardrobe, great hair, near-to-perfect skin, Miranda Kerr worthy make-up and much more. And do I even have to mention again that this can all be achieved on a budget?
I am sure that with 'Style, Chic, Trendy, Cheap', women of all ages everywhere can afford to look their best, look chic and trendy and make herself an overall more confidant woman, making her just as beautiful inside as she looks outside.

A great wake up callI bought this book not long ago and I absolutely loved it. I kept overspending trying to buy new clothes but this book taught me how to look chic for less. I believe that now I will be saving my husband's pain over my spending a whole lot more! [by Rachel Duthie]
