She sets out on a dangerous adventure to find her true home, and along the way she meets the ainatunarit who is on their way to the war.
The ainatunarit are different from the humans, and Enilia finds herself caught in a web of contradicting emotions. She falls in love with first one, and then another, and suddenly has to deal with feelings she has never before confronted. Laino, the beautiful, strong and haughty leader of the ainatunari army, and Mevarn, the quiet, romantic and sensitive son of the Lord of the Light.
From being isolated in a human village, Enilia now takes on the entire range of emotions connected to her own people. At the same time, the ainatunarit are heading to the final battle that will determine their life in Laru once and for all.
"Daughter of the Light" is the first of five novels in the series Light, Life & Magic.
