Kim Montgomeryabout this book: This children's book was inspired by my own childhood. Many of the events are based on fact, although I will admit to a little embellishment and exaggeration here and there. Writing the book was a surprisingly painless affair, especially as I have wanted to write ever since I can remember, but struggled to find any inspiration. I seemed to have writer's block even before I had written anything. Then, in middle age, it all came flooding out, ironically using a subject matter that had been there all along.
So, spare a little time, and allow yourselves to become acquainted with Curly and Tubs. This is their first adventure, but I'm sure they would be only too glad to have more if their fans wanted it. How could you deny them the chance to return to The World of Knowledge, perhaps to a different volume, and face a whole new set of challenges? I think you know Tubs is very keen to visit The Land of Literature.
