about this book: This is the 2nd short novel is the Hope and Magic series, following on from "Captivated" It's set ten years later, as Hope has been under the sleeping curse for that length of time. She happy when she wakes up and finds the man she loves, Ritchie has waited for her, her brother is still alive, and Steven and Lucinda are still together. The only problem is, it's not the world she left behind. Something went wrong while she was under the curse and Ritchie won't tell her what happened to allow witches to take over the world.

I'm a huge zombies fan and I think this story resembles a zombie apocalypse story in some ways, but with witches instead of zombies. While the first book started off in a realistic world, in this one things have progressed to a world full of witches who out number humans and threaten to wipe them all out if Hope and her twin brother Ben can't prevent it.
