Knowing this would be the final installment in the series made it hard for me to finish. I took my time, and hope you enjoy the wrap-up of all characters at the end.

Mitchell and Lillian's story is ripe with emotional angst as both are still grieving the loss of a loved one. It's always difficult bringing together two such opposite characters, but I finally managed to get these two on board. Their attraction to each other is immediate despite Mitchell's irritation at having to give Lillian shelter from snowstorm when all he wanted was a few days alone to remember his deceased wife. Lillian's recent bad experience with her ex-boyfriend left her with no tolerance for bossy men, but that didn't stifle her unwanted response to her reluctant host.

He blamed his recent bout of celibacy; she blamed the stress of her abusive ex and death of her twin sister.

Both were surprised when their attraction to each other continued to grow after they were no longer confined in close quarters in his cabin. A few break-ins in the garage apartment Mitchell offered Lillian forced them to confront their feelings before their reluctance to get involved in another relationship cost them more than a second chance at a happy future.
