I admit to being leery about dipping into a genre I've never written in before, but having done so, I am thrilled with the introduction and responses to my Cowboy Doms series. SUBITTING TO THE RANCHER features a rugged, cowboy Dom and a woman on the run who has a penchant for landing herself in trouble. Sydney is a quirky character I fell in love with, right along with Caden who couldn't resist her charms for long.

Sydney is trying to do the right thing by staying away from her family after a threat from her uncle, fearing for her grandmother's health should the woman who raised her ever hear of her youngest child's duplicity. I found Sydney's selflessness as endearing as her penchant for getting lost and for growing overly fond of the ranch animals. Some might find the outcome of her struggles to protect her family simplistic, but my intention was to end on a happy note all around, including her family.

This is a short story, offered for just $.99 as an introduction into a new series. You'll read more about Sydney and Caden as well as the other characters introduced in this book in upcoming titles. Book two, SUBMITTING TO THE SHERIFF is Sheriff Grayson Monroe's story and slated for release the end of February, so you don't have long to wait!
