Libby Campbellabout this book: Billionaire Simon Jacobson thinks feisty Sadie Donohue is the perfect woman to be his wife. She's smart, honest, and compassionate but her life is running out of control. No problem. Simon knows just how to fix that.
Simon's relentless pursuit amuses Sadie. The luxurious lifestyle he offers intrigues her. She's aware of her weaknesses. Impulsive spending has driven her credit card debt sky high. She has the eating habits of difficult child (no vegetables please!). Her lazy lifestyle leaves her puffing for breath after a short walk.
Simon has plans to correct Sadie's self-defeating behavior. What he wants in return is simple: her obedience and submission to him as head of their relationship.
Initially, Simon's main appeal to Sadie is that he is wealthy beyond imagination. It isn't the only thing she likes about him but it doesn't hurt. However, she has a good job, her own apartment, and a strong sense of her own identity. She's not waiting for her prince to come, so when Simon waltzes into her life, it's like icing on the cake – if she decides to take a bite.
Simon Says, a romantic, DD fantasy set in the cold climes of Canada, is warmed by many spankings.
Readers who enjoy protective alpha males and the strong women they share their lives with will like this book. It's light, fast-paced and humorous.
I love contemporary romance with a disciplinary twist and read to escape the dullness of everyday life. For that reason, Simon Says is meant to be a fun romp through an imaginary world.
Creating Simon's rarefied world of wealth and privilege meant I had to step through the looking glass to see how the top 1% of the top 1% lives. My research folder is full of pictures and articles about such diverse subjects as: cigarette boats, floater jackets, Appaloosa horses, Christian Loubitin shoes, Japanese gardens, First Class airline cabins, and luxury jewellery.
I hope anyone who reads this book will smile more than once and enjoy the playful energy between Simon and Sadie.
• This is a good fantasy romp with a satisfying, red bottomed ending
• [Simon Says] offered a taste of 50 Shades of Gray, with the strict Dom and the new-to-this sub. I read this book in one sitting, not wanting to stop until the end.
• This intense romance novel gets right to the heart of the'spanking' matter and stays in full action mode throughout.
