The Suave Novelistabout this book: When is the last time you read a romance book from a real man's perspective? Probably never. That's what Fitness 4Play erotic-romance comedy series provides: a real man's romantic journey from his point of view. The story is told in first person. It is loosely based on the personal life of the author and book cover model of the series. Fitness 4Play is a 3-part series explores life of a young man's (Devin "Dab" Banks) journey of holding on to true love despite his penchant for pleasure with multiple women. In part 1, Devin is a personal trainer who is hellbent on being a entrepreneur and starting his own gym, Fitness 4Play. Along the way, he enjoys the fruits of being a fit, young, handsome and educated man. He has never been a one-woman man until he meets Lucy. She's the type of woman that trumps other "here today, gone today" type of females Devin has been dealing with. However, a one night stand could derail Devin's budding romance with Lucy.
It took me about 2 months to write this. Events within my personal life is what inspired me to write this book (hence the main character is loosely based on me). Honestly, I came up with the title because fitness and fourplay sounds good together. Also, that's the name of Devin's future personal training studio and blends in with his lifestyle. I didn't have to do a ton of research for this book. The valuable thing I learned while writing this book is don't be afraid to be authentic. My writing style is very different from most other romance writer. A reader will either extremely love or strongly hate my material. To my readers, I hope my writing dares them to explore their uniqueness.
