Elliott Bakerabout this book: The Sun God's Heir: Return is the first book in a trilogy that follows a young Frenchman, René Gilbert as his destiny once again reunites him with an ancient brother determined to wreak vengeance on him. One brother is born in seventeenth century France, and the other takes over the life of Victor Gaspard, the son of a wealthy nobleman. They meet when Victor kills René's best friend in a lopsided duel. René then mortally wounds Victor thus opening the door for the return of an ancient hatred determined not only to kill Rene, but to bathe the current world in blood.
This is a book of inclusion where an individual's outer wrappings are unimportant and those inner motivations, strengths and weaknesses, are all important. René must remember and reintegrate his own ancient awareness and power from three thousand years ago in order to defeat the ancient Egyptian general, Horemheb, now returned.
There are pirates in this book. But not the Disney kind.
I hope you enjoy the read.
