Lacking a familiarity with magic, Herbert and Teguin's first adventure together will have long-reaching consequences. Discovering their abilities is only the beginning.I enjoy a good plot twist or two when I write. A healthy amount of unpredictability is refreshing in a story. Reveal too much at the beginning, and there is little reason to continue reading. Answer too many questions for a reader and it doesn't let them escape and engage with the fantasy realm in the same, priceless way.
When I create a fantasy world, I long to explain and answer and reveal all its secrets. It's easy to get side tracked. I have to save adventures with lesser characters for another time. Those are hard moments.
As a longtime lover of fantasy, I want to bring a touch of wit, madness, and wonder into the lives of my readers. I hope to see you in the Imperium soon.
