about this book: Shadow in Ar'Sanciond is the first novella I've ever written, which was exciting and daunting. I knew very quickly when I was writing the Relics of Ar'Zac trilogy that it needed a prequel—so much magic gone wrong that I couldn't explain in the main series!—and since I love a prequel, writing this one was a no-brainer. Relics of Ar'Zac asked what it would be like to have magic in a world where it's outlawed. Shadow in Ar'Sanciond asked *why* it was outlawed and why so much knowledge from the old world got destroyed. It's dark, there's no happy ending, and I loved every second of writing it. It's out today (December 9th), which brings my entire debut series to a close! I hope you'll love it as much as I do.Love from an ARC review:
