Roger Harrisonabout this book: It is estimated that around one million people a day cut or self abuse their self. Most are teenagers and some are adults and almost all are silent about it. I used to be one of them. It took many years for me but I finally realized that when I cut I am not hurting the one who is hurting me I am only hurting myself. I have stopped but I still am tempted to do it again every day. If you cut please get help. If you know somebody who cuts please help them by getting them help. Let them know they are not alone. When you feel like cutting try to release your feelings in a more productive way. Try writing down your feelings instead. The 10 original poems in this book are poems I wrote about Cutting. They may be disturbing to some but if this silent epidemic is not talked about how can it ever be stopped?
