Keith Lawsonabout this book: The story is set in the south East of England, in and around a small coastal town called Folkestone.
At this point I should warn you that if you like your hero to be a handsome, hulky six footer then maybe this is not for you.
The main protagonist in our tale, Harry Conrad, is a skinny five foot eight or nine and is an average guy whose profession is accountancy. Not too good so far, you think. Well, it only gets worse.
After a certain event transpires Harry finds that he is not so average after all but the change in his personality is not for the better. In dealing with a traumatic situation he discovers a darker side hidden deep in his soul. His wife Sandra becomes fascinated with this new persona and together they go on a murderous spree that ends in betrayal.
Some of you will hate the characters. Some may sympathise and even understand them. I guess it depends on your point of view but whatever line you take I think you will find their journey an interesting one.
